Terms and Conditions are a legal agreement between you, the customer, and C.C Clements & Sons, the website owner. As a local business, we strive to provide you with a personalized and satisfactory experience. Therefore, our T&C document is tailored to meet the specific requirements of our business and our customers.

What Should Be Included in a T&C Document?

This T&C document will be comprehensive and cover all the necessary topics that are relevant to our business. At C.C Clements & Sons, we have included the following in our T&C document: our services, payment and refund policy, delivery policy, intellectual property rights, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution. 

Click and Collect

At C.C Clements & Sons, we offer a free Click and Collect service. Simply select your item(s), place your order and then collect from our store. 

 

We’ll tell you what time your order will be available to collect from. It is a free Click and Collect service and could be ready in as little as 15 minutes. Please bear in mind if you place an order within an hour of the store closing, your items could be available the next day.

What do I need to bring to collect my order? 

 

Please head to our counter at the front of the store and bring:

  • A copy of your order on your phone or an order number

  • Proof of age will be required for certain products

  • If someone is collecting on your behalf, they must bring the email confirmation or order number.

We can't release your order without verifying your ID for any age restricted products.

Challenge 25 

​

Consumer laws control the quality and safety of goods and services. In some cases, goods (such as knives) cannont be supplied to anyone below a certain age. We operate a Challenge 25 policy for purchasing any age restricted goods. Please makes sure your have a valid ID, when collecting items, otherwise the sale may be declined.

Can someone collect on my behalf?

We’re happy for someone else to collect your order, the person you’ve nominated must present a copy of the order confirmation or order number.

Please note: Age restricted products can not be collected by anyone other than the person who placed the order.

Ordering

By placing an order through our site www.ccclements.uk, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally capable of entering into a binding contracts. When you purchase items for sale on our site, you will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you checkout.

All orders placed by you and purchases of goods by you from us, are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order or purchase for any reason and will not be liable to you to to anyone else in those circumstances. Where we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply that in conformity with these terms and conditions.

Availability

All goods are subject to availability. While we endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders and purchases, if in the event that a product is unavailable for whatever reason, we will contact you using the details you have provided to us to ask how you would like to proceed. We may process any part of the order which is available and whether you would like us to supply a suitable alternative product. We will not supply you with an alternative product unless we receive instruction from you that you wish us to do so. If you opt not to purchase an alternative product, we will refund you the full value of the product and any applicable carriage charges within 14 days.

Payment

We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order and purchase, and any applicable charges for delivery, before your order can be processed, unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.

The following cards are accepted as methods of payment - Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron and Mastercard. All transactions are in pound sterling. You confirm that the credit/Debit card that is being used is yours and you are authorised to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer

We are not responsible for the card issuer or bank charging the holder of the card as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order or purchase.

Risk and Title

The products will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the products, including delivery charges.

Returns Policy

In store return policy

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we’re here to help! Goods may be exchanged if found unsuitable after purchase. Proof of purchase MUST accompany goods and must be within a period of 14 days. Packaging must be intact. We regret we are NOT able to give a CASH REFUND on returned goods, unless your statutory rights are affected.

How to return your product

Please contact us for more details on returning your product(s), any shipping fees are paid for by the customer.

Our site contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some go our products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a products correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a product's price is higher than the one stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a dispatch confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

On occasion, the prices of goods advertised on ccclements.uk may differ from those prices at the same time in our shop. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store prices in the event that they differ from those on ccclements.uk. Similarly, Clements are under no obligation to honour any ccclements.uk prices in the event they differ from those in our shop.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.

Discount Codes

​We do not accept discount codes form Third Party Websites, these are fake and not redeemable. We only offer discount codes to our customers who have signed up to our newsletter.

Products and Special Items

Please be advised that some of our products are special order products, which may not be held in our physical store.

Most of our products that we show online, are standard product lines that we hold in stock, however, we do get some products that we publish on our site, which are special orders that have been brought through our shop. These special orders, get published on our website, for our customers to see we can get hold of them and for the customer to purchase, we will do our best to make this clear to our customers, as of which, they may not be available in our physical shop, unless they are ordered specifically.

Statutory Rights

Your Statutory Rights are unaffected by appearing in these Terms and Conditions,
